Cooperation for Successful Implementation of High-speed Railway Project in Vietnam

Vice Minister BAEK Won-kug from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport met with Deputy Minister Nguyen Danh Huy from the Ministry of Transportation of Vietnam on the morning of Wednesday 25 October in Sejong to discuss ways to cooperate between the two countries on the Vietnamese project for the North-South high-speed railway under deliberation.
This meeting took place as the Vietnamese side, which is designing the high-speed railway project between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, hopes to learn from Korea's experience in successfully opening and operating the world's fifth high-speed railway.
