Expanding Korea-Kazakhstan Cooperation in Smart Cities and Infrastructure

Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport KIM Yun-duk met with Ambassador Arystanov Nurgali of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Korea at the Korea Territorial Development Museum on February 20 to discuss practical measures to advance bilateral cooperation in smart cities and transport and energy infrastructure.
The two sides also exchanged views on identifying substantive cooperation agendas in preparation for the 1st Korea–Central Asia Summit, scheduled for the second half of 2026, which will bring together leaders from five Central Asian countries, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.
