MOLIT Minister PARK Sang-woo made a visit to a construction site of the Han River Tunnel connecting Gimpo and Paju on the morning of 15 April to inspect the progress and assess safety protocols, especially those utilizing advanced technologies.
As part of a nationwide ‘Comprehensive Safety Inspection Campaign’ from 14 April to 13 June, led by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and joined by all ministries and local governments, MOLIT initiated the mission with intensive inspection of 939 key facilities, including national infrastructure such as roads, railways, and airports, as well as public rental housings, construction and demolition sites, and private logistics warehouses, and so forth.
