24-hour System Maintenance for Safe Air Navigation

Vice Minister of the MOLIT BAEK Won-kug has visited Gimpo Airport on the afternoon of Friday 1 December and boarded a newly introduced flight inspection aircraft to examine flight safety in the skies over the planned locations for new airports, including Daegue, Gadeok, and Jeju, while checking the radio environment such as signal strength of navigation safety facilities, etc.
Meanwhile, the MOLIT took over the aircraft and flight inspection mission from the United States in 1991 and has been regularly inspecting the performance of navigation safety facilities* at civil and military airports across the country.
