The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (Minister WON Hee-ryong), who is officially carrying out with President Yoon Suk Yeol’s state visit to Saudi Arabia, held a Ceremony to commemorate the Anniversary of Korea-Saudi Construction Cooperation for 50 Years at the Neom Exhibition Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arbia on Monday 23 October.

As this year marks the 50th anniversary of the Korean companies’ participation in construction projects at the country, the event was organized to share the future vision of bilateral cooperation for the next 50 years, which began with Al-Ula-Khaybar highway contract for roads and ports projects by Samhwan Corporation back in 1973, and then, from petrochemical plants that have been continued until recently to IT, future mobility, smart city, and culture, etc.
