Infrastructure Cooperation between Korea and Panama takes a Step Forward

MOLIT Minister WON Hee-ryong met with the Minister of the Ministry of Public Works of Panama, Rafael Sabonge, on Wed. 17 May to sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on Korea-Pamana infrastructure cooperation and discuss cooperation ways to expand participation of Korean companies in infrastructure cooperation, including the Panama Metro project, etc.
The meeting and the signing of the MOU were carried out with the active proposal of Panama's Minister of Public Works, Mr. Sabonghe, in a situation where infrastructure cooperation between the two countries has intensified, such as the participation of Korean companies in Panama's largest infrastructure project, Metro Line No. 3.
