Vice Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport EO Myeong-so visited the Advanced Vehicle Inspection Research Center, which is operated by Korea Transportation Safety Authority located in Gimcheon City, on Friday 21 April to check the progress of technical inspection technologies and equipment development for automated driving cars, electric & hydrogen electric vehicles, and educational facilities for inspection technicians.

In addition, Vice Minister Eo called on an automobile inspection center privately operated to encourage on-site employees, while examining inspection facilities and operational conditions, and appealed as "Technical inspection of automobile is a crucial part for protecting people's lives and property, so that the job should be done with such a sense of responsibility and duty as your own family take".
