About a year before the opening of the Metropolitan Area High-speed Rail, which is named as GTX-A (Line A of the Great Train Express) linking between Suseo and Dongtan, the full-scale activities by the ‘Citizen Group for GTX-A’ that was organized to reflect the genuine ideas from the public in the project has begun celebrating its launching at Seoul Station on 19 April.

The Citizen Group was openly recruited for 10 days from 6 to 15 February for the general public (19 years old or older), and a total of 35 people* were finally selected by adding more from domestic railroad clubs and recommendations from experts in charge.
