Vice Minister LEE Won-jae of the MOLIT expects Korea-Panama infrastructure cooperation to take a leap forward

LEE Won-jae, 1st Vice Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT), who is visiting the Rep. of Panama following Peru with the goal of expanding into the Latin American construction market, had a meeting with Rafael Sabonge, Panama’s Minister of Public Works on Thu. 2 February to examine the leaping achievements in the field of infrastructure cooperation between the two countries as the results of the recent construction of Panama Metro Line 3 and to discuss on the ways of improvements.

Later, in a meeting with Hector Ortega, Director General of the Panama Metro (Metro de Panama S.A.), which is the ordering body of the metro project, Vice Minister Lee had an in-depth discussion on how to expand Korean companies' participation in the follow-up projects of the Panama Metro Line 3.
