In the afternoon on Jan. 25th, Minister Won paid a visit to a Korean corporation, Hanwha E&C, being in charge of the project site in Bismayah New Town in Iraq, which has been disrupted due to domestic circumstances in Iraq, and encouraged around 50 Hanwha E&C executives and employees one by one who have been faithfully keeping there even under the difficulties without any construction for the time being.

Minister Won said, “I would like to express my respect and gratitude to the entrepreneurs who have been struggling in this place where they have to wear bulletproof vests to come in.” adding, “The government will be taking care of the difficulties that our companies are experiencing through high-level channels as there has been agreed to restart the joint committee between Korea and Iraq today.”
