Chairperson KIM Yong-seok of the Metropolitan Transport Commission under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT; Minister KIM Yun-duk) visited the light rail construction site on Northeast Line in Seoul on March 12 to inspect project progress and encourage on-site personnel, expressing expectations that the line’s planned opening in 2027, with 16 stations along a 13.4 km route, will enhance transportation convenience in northeastern Seoul.
