The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT, Minister WON Hee-ryong) hosts the Global Infrastructure Cooperation Conference 2023 (GICC 2023), a 2-day event held at InterContinental Seoul Parnas from September 19th, aimed at supporting Korean businesses venturing into the global market and helping them win overseas projects.
The GICC, which celebrates its 11th anniversary this year, has served as a key networking platform for Korea’s infrastructure sector. Since its inauguration, delegations led by ministers and high-level officials from around the world have been invited to the GICC to share information on new projects and build networks with Korean companies through programs including High-level Bilateral Meetings, Project Seminars, and 1:1 Project Meetings, leading to a remarkable outcome of securing project contracts worth USD 30 billion in cumulative value.
