National Geographic Information Institute to host 18 member states of the Pan American Institute of Geography and History for the invited program starting from September 12th
The National Geographic Information Institute (NGII, Director General CHO Woo-seok) under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT, Minister WON Hee-ryong) will host a four-day Capacity Building Program on Geographical Names and Geospatial Information (hereinafter "Capacity Building Program") from September 12 to 15 at the Suwon Convention Center by inviting 18 member states of the Pan American Institute of Geography and History (PAIGH).
The Capacity Building Program, which was held for the first time last year and will be held for the second time this year, will be attended by 19 officials and experts in charge of geographical names and geospatial information from 18 states in Latin America among the total of 21 member countries of PAIGH.
