Won 2 first prizes in two categories at the 2023 International Cartographic Conference held until August 18th
The National Geographic Information Institute (NGII, Director General CHO Woo-seok) under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) and the Korean Cartographic Association (KCA, President JEONG Jae-joon) announced that Korea won two awards at the 2023 International Cartographic Conference*.

Korea achieved two awards with the 1st prizes for 'The National Atlas of Korea', which was submitted in the Atlases category* and the 'Maps for Colour Blind and World Braille Map' in the category of Physical Cartographic Products, as well as the 2nd prize for the 'Paper Braille Globe' that was under the category of Educational Cartographic Products.
