The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT, Minister PARK Sang-woo) and the International Contractors Association of Korea (ICAK, Chairman HAN Man-hee) have announced the launch of an online voting campaign in order to commemorate the achievement of $1

trillion in cumulative overseas construction contracts by selecting “Korea’s Top 10 Overseas Construction Projects” aimed at highlighting

and celebrating the remarkable success of Korean construction companies in executing significant overseas projects over the past 60 years.

Korea’s journey in overseas construction began with the signing of its first contract in November 1965 with Thailand for a national

expressways construction project, and its overseas construction orders reached a cumulative total of $1.009 trillion by the end of 2024.
