The National Architecture Policy Commission (Chairperson KWON Young-gull), in collaboration with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and

Transport (MOLIT, Minister PARK Sang-woo), holds the “Globalization of Korean Architecture: K-HOUSE Symposium" at the Design Hall of

Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul at 2:00 PM on 20 November.

The symposium aims to explore the direction in which traditional Hanok can be revitalized and re-established as urban living spaces through the integration of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and modern design.

The event focuses on "The Rebirth of Hanok: Defining the Concept of Smart K-House" inviting experts from various fields, including artificial

intelligence (AI), design, and traditional architecture to discuss the modern development direction for Hanok.
