The 7th Global Railway Training Program with 32 selected trainees from 13 countries kicked off to continue to take the legacy of exporting

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT, Minister PARK Sang-woo) has launched the 7th Global Railway Training Program, scheduled until 31 August 2025, by holding a welcoming ceremony on 2 October 2024 aimed at providing learning opportunities on Korea’s
railway policies and technologies to the designated workforce from overseas major organizations participating in related railway projects.
For this year, the application process of the training program was open to 33 countries following Uzbekistan where the initial Korean
high-speed train was exported last June 14th, and then, a total of 66 applicants from 14 countries were evaluated based on the potential for project contracts and the completeness of their study plans, leading to the selection of 32 participants from 13 countries * (9 from 5
government agencies and 23 from 12 public institutions).
