Korea-Vietnam Smart City Cooperation Center has been launched to share related technologies and system, while promoting expansion of
Korean companies into Vietnam
On the morning of August 13th, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT, Minister PARK Sang-woo) held a building
dedication ceremony of the ‘Korea-Vietnam Smart City Construction Technology Cooperation Center’ (hereinafter referred to as the
Cooperation Center) in Hanoi, Vietnam, marking the start of full-scale cooperation.
The Cooperation Center was initiated as part of an ODA (Official Development Assistance) project by the MOLIT* to specifically implement
the ‘MOU on Construction and Urban Development Cooperation’ signed by the MOLIT, Rep. of Korea and the Ministry of Construction of
Vietnam, as well as the bilateral summit back in 2018.
