Application for the trainings on Hanok design and architectural & engineering manager opens on June 4th


The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT, Minister PARK Sang-woo) has selected two educational institutions to be

dedicated to fostering Hanok professionals that is aimed at popularizing, industrializing and modernizing Hanok, and started the application for the trainings on Hanok design and architectural & engineering manager from June 4th.


Since its launch back in 2011, the Hanok professional training project has cultivated a total of around 1,400 trainees over 13 years, while

there have been ongoing achievements made by them completed the trainings such as winning design competitions and securing

Hanok-related construction contracts.


This training project for Hanok professionals consists of two courses: Hanok design and Hanok architectural & engineering manager, and the two selected educational institutions as Myongji University and Jeonbuk National University, will be in charge of the training courses starting in July.
